Anissa Hampton, known on stage as “Bigg Sexyy,” is a powerhouse soul artist hailing from Chicago, Illinois. Her musical journey began at just three years old and continued to flourish when she relocated to Jackson, Mississippi—where her natural gift transformed into a dynamic, genre-spanning artistry. With a voice that moves effortlessly through Blues, Soul, Gospel, Opera, and Jazz, Anissa has carved out a reputation as one of the region’s most versatile and emotive performers.

Her commanding presence has led her to share stages with celebrated talents including Brian McKnight, Musiq Soulchild, Eric Benét, Regina Belle, Michel'le, and Bobby Rush. She has also enriched the sound of industry greats through her background vocal contributions for artists such as Willie Clayton, Keeshea Pratt, and Calvin Richardson, Chick Rogers, Karen Brown, EJ Jones, Stefunie and Larry Johnson.

Anissa’s impact on the Southern Soul and Blues scenes is reflected in a long list of accolades. In 2018, she earned her first major nomination for Female Artist of the Year at the Southern Soul Music Awards. Her 2020 single “Talk to Me” climbed to #6 and #10 on the UK charts, garnering her another nomination—Female Vocalist of the Yearat the Jackson Music Awards. Her momentum continued with multiple wins, including:

· Entertainer of the Year and Female Artist of the Year (2022) – Jackson Music Awards
